Nuggets

Finally got my mitts on an affordable copy of the nuggets box set and was amazed that it did live up to it's legendary status. It's some feat to compile 100 or so tracks and every one be a corker - not a filler in sight. Got the series Mind Rocker as well, which is also worth a look, although I suspect I'm preaching to the (already) converted.

Which do you prefer Nuggets 1 (US) or Nuggets 2 (UK)? I've found the second set gets more play at my house.

Prefer the US, just because I was less familiar with many of the tunes than on Nuggets 2. Haven't got Children Of Nuggets, figured they might have cast their net a bit too wide (76-95) on that one.

I'm all about vers 2... got more jams on for me - then again, I'm a big fan of the UK gear..... Vol 3 is patchy at best - some good gear like the Cynics, but a lot of filler.....
