
Here we have the almighty John Peel playing Chain of Strength on BBC Radio months after the record came out on Revelation. That means that unless you were wearing a white Gorilla Biscuits hoodie in 1989, a middle-aged English dude was into Chain of Strength before you were.

I heard Gorilla Biscuits for the first time on Peel as well... it was the song "good intentions" as I remember, the fastest one on the LP. So I thought the whole album was going to be like that. When I picked it up and was faced with the likes of 'Start Today' it was a bit of a let down, although the record did grow on me...
