Poster Children

This band from Urbana/Champagne, IL was probably just a blip on the early nineties computer screen to most, but I was a huge fan! They were a welcome alternative to the sludge of grunge bands soaking up all the mainstream attention. Built on the DIY ethics of the Chicago scene, but forging new ground as the self appointed "leaders of the web movement", these guys were one of the first bands to have a presence on the internet. Melding their love of post punk, math and heavy rock, with the nerdy flair of a computer science major, these guys started what they called the "post wave" movement. Technology was embraced but the music was still low fi and heavy....but not grunge.
Tool of the Man is a banger from cover to cover! Enjoy!
