Mance Lipscomb

Was chatting with Brooksy earlier about the blues...been getting back into the OG stuff, from the guys who'd seen the evil shit in the South. And my fave is probably Mance Lipscomb. Born in the late 1800s, Mance was the son of a former slave. And "Mance" was apparently a name he took for himself...a shortened version of 'emancipation.' The walking & talking guitar..playing slide with a pocket knife...this guy is the blues. The second vid has a bit of an interview on the end of it.
