Every year I wish I could be in Memphis for the Goner Fest....and I still haven't made it. Goner Fest is the beating heart of the lo-fi garage punk scene that has mutated into beasts like Jay Reatard, Eddie Current Suppression Ring, Reigning Sound, Digital Leather, Human Eye and all manner of fucked up 'bands you'll only hear of when their records are sold out'.
