The Hates are a seriously underrated Houston band... they are still going today but are waaaay less interesting than they were in the early 80's, their 1st 3 7"s and 'Houston' 12" are gems and not too crazy hard to find. Here's them doing my fave song of theirs 'No Talk In The 80's'....
