This weekend, while I pulled Legos and Cheerios off the floor, I listened to The Thing that Ate Floyd for the first time in 20 (maybe 15) years. The record sleeve smells awful and the sounds are pretty rough, but I recall that scene certainly greased my relocation up from LA (Primary motivation: pretty girl). I was too late to catch most of the bands featured on the compilation (including the big one below)... but I married the girl.

K Town
Early 2000's saw a ton of great bands coming out of Copenhagen, most notably No Hope For The Kids, Young Wasteners, Hul and Gorrila Angreb. Just found a really great bunch of vids of some of them...
